Graduate Scholarship in UK Description: The Swire Centenary & Cathay Pacific and Swire/Cathay Pacific Scholarships are generously funded by the Swire Educational Trust, founded by John Swire & Sons. Four fully funded scholarships are available to graduate students demonstrating exceptional academic merit and/or potential who will commence study on a course offered by St Antony’s College in 2013-14.
International Scholarships Open for Students of Following Countries: The students who are permanent residents of Japan or China or Hong Kong can apply for this scholarship.
Swire Educational Trust offers four fully funded scholarships at St Antony’s College, University of Oxford in UK. Scholarship is available for graduate students demonstrating exceptional academic merit and/or potential who will commence study on a course offered by St Antony’s College in 2013-14. The graduate scholarship is awarded to students from Japan or China and Hong Kong. The scholarships selection criteria are academic merit, although financial need may be taken into account. The scholarship covers university and college fees, and a grant for living costs, airfare. Submit online application for graduate study by 22nd March 2013.

- The Scholarships are open to applicants who are permanent residents of Japan or China (for the Swire Centenary & Cathay Pacific awards) or Hong Kong (for the Swire/Cathay Pacific awards) who have completed the majority of their formal education in Japan (for Japanese permanent residents), China (for Chinese permanent residents) or Hong Kong (for Hong Kong permanent residents).
- The scholarships will be awarded primarily on academic merit, although financial need may be taken into account. -Scholars must intend to return to Japan (for Japanese permanent residents), China (for Chinese permanent residents) or Hong Kong (for Hong Kong permanent residents) after completing their course of study.
- Preference will be given to applicants who plan to pursue a career in government, business, academia or a recognized profession.
